Why we invested
We need to begin to find ways to decarbonize aviation. The Pyka team has made incredible progress in developing its electric-powered autonomous vehicles for applications where batteries make a lot of sense. A creative and resourceful team, Pyka has commercialized their autonomous aircraft for precision agriculture spraying markets and is beginning to develop air cargo capabilities that can take advantage of the short takeoff and landing capabilities.
Why this work matters
Pyka's all electric airplanes combine proprietary propulsion, navigation, 3D aerial mapping, and dynamic path planning technologies to produce the world's most capable autonomous aircraft for agricultural operations and cargo transport.
