Methane is both a potent greenhouse gas and a valuable molecule full of energy. Windfall Bio is tackling the important task of reducing methane emissions, while at the same time creating profitable products for their customers. This combination of climate and business impact will drive rapid growth for the company.
Why this work matters
Methane’s accumulation in the atmosphere has accelerated rapidly, now responsible for over half of current atmospheric warming, and most methane that is emitted today is too dilute to capture economically. But addressing these methane emissions, one of the largest and most under-appreciated problems for global warming, is the most impactful strategy available today to address near-term climate change.
