Edward joined Prelude Ventures as a Senior Associate in 2024.

Before Prelude, Edward was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked with clients in the utilities & renewables practice to build data-driven processes for optimizing grid capital investments and supported private equity and growth equity clients to evaluate investment opportunities across a range of industries. Edward also previously held roles at Powerhouse Ventures and at Crux, a sustainable finance startup building a market platform for clean energy and decarbonization project developers to transact and manage transferable tax credits.

Edward holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from UC Berkeley's College of Engineering and a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business. He is passionate about education and youth development, and has served as an advisor/director on the boards of the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology at UC Berkeley, as well as Seattle-based nonprofits Teens in Public Service and the Museum of History and Industry.

Based in San Francisco, Edward enjoys trying new food spots with friends, cooking, listening to podcasts, and exploring the outdoors as much as possible. He is an avid skier, tennis player, backpacker, and certified scuba divemaster.
